Abstract Ultrasound-assisted liquid-phase exfoliation is a promising method for manufacturing two-dimensional materials. Understanding the effect of ultrasonication parameters such as temperature and input power on developed pressure field pivotal optimization process. Limited research has been carried out to determine optimal exfoliation, with some data generating disputed results. Simply maximizing sonication does not necessarily produce higher yield because shielding. In this study, high-temperature calibrated cavitometer was used measure acoustic generated in different graphite solutions deionized water at various temperatures (from 10°C 70°C) conditions 20% 100%). addition, high-speed optical imaging provided insight shock wave generation from transient bubble collapses under conditions. The sono-exfoliation were determined be flake solution, 100% 40°C 50°C powder solution.
